Base Building
Use construction units to place production facilities, power plants and defensive structures.

Build your base. Command the battle. Take control.
Watch trailerHuman Protocol is a PC real-time strategy game from Ionar Studio Games. Build a base, gather resources and fuel your production. Deploy tanks, artillery and aircraft against AI-controlled forces, or take direct control of a combat unit.
Human Protocol brings base building, military production and direct unit control together in a real-time strategy game for PC. Establish your infrastructure, then turn resources into the funds needed to construct buildings, produce vehicles and research new options.
Your economy extends beyond collecting resources. HARVI transports supplies to a depot, while fuel trucks deliver fuel to power plants. Keeping the power network supplied supports factory production. The Tank Factory produces ground combat vehicles, and the Air Factory produces the Raptor fighter.
On the battlefield, command your units from the strategy view or switch to direct control to drive and fire. Use Bulwark’s artillery targeting mode, build defensive turrets and invest in research that unlocks additional equipment. Enemy factories produce forces that assemble into attack groups, linking your military decisions to the infrastructure that sustains them.
Gather resources and deliver them for income. Build and fuel your power network, queue vehicles, and research new equipment. Position your forces and defenses, respond to enemy attacks, and switch to direct unit control when you want to drive and fire yourself.

The DT75 construction tractor has new capabilities. It now delivers materials to construction sites, carries a variety of cargo and supports manual control.
After receiving a construction order, the tractor first collects materials, then travels to the work site. The construction site appears as soon as the building is assigned, but construction only begins when the tractor arrives. At that point, the cargo disappears from the trailer and is consumed by the build.
The tractor remains busy while construction is underway. Attempting to send it elsewhere plays a corresponding voice line. Voice lines for material collection trips have also been added in all supported game languages.
A completed CentrSnab immediately creates cargo at three pickup points. Collecting a load deducts 1000 from the player’s funds, and the empty pickup point restocks after 1.5 minutes.
If there is no supply center yet, materials are available at the Command Center. Players short of funds have a way to recover: free cargo appears at the Command Center at 5-minute intervals.
Cargo rises smoothly from below ground. When supply switches to the completed CentrSnab, any remaining cargo at the Command Center smoothly sinks into the ground and is removed.
DT75 now supports manual control based on Falcon:
When switching modes, the main interface smoothly fades out and back in. Manual control is unavailable during construction.
The trailer has several cargo layouts, including crates, barrels, a concrete mixer and a red generator. The concrete mixer features worn materials based on a photographic reference, surface relief and an animated rotating drum.
Track marks now disappear gradually: after the unit travels another 100 meters, the older section fades out over 3 seconds. This behavior applies to all units using the track-mark system.

Optimisation continues in Human Protocol. The Research Center has received a lighter model, and the construction drone has been replaced by the DT7 construction tractor. Both changes are aimed at reducing the load on the game and improving FPS.
The previous Research Center model was replaced with a lighter version to improve performance. The images show the updated building on its own and in a military base setting.
The construction drone was also too demanding for the game, so its place has been taken by the DT7 construction tractor. This replacement is another step in reducing the load from construction units as work on optimisation continues.

We continue to develop aviation in Human Protocol. Desert Airbase now supports up to two aircraft: the first takes the starting position, while the second waits in the hangar and moves onto the runway after the first takes off.
Each sortie is limited to five minutes. The aircraft then automatically returns to base for refuelling, which takes 30 seconds. If the hangar is free, the returning aircraft refuels inside, leaving the runway available for the second aircraft. If both return at the same time, they land one at a time.
Combat control has also been improved: movement and landing orders interrupt the current attack run. The aircraft follows the player’s command and resumes combat after reaching the designated area.
While both aircraft are alive, production of new ones is blocked. Attempting to order a third triggers an audio notification. After one aircraft is lost, the base can produce a replacement.

Base defenses are expanding with a new rocket turret. Two launcher pods with four launch tubes each, a substantial base and digital camouflage give the installation a distinctive military appearance. Metal panels, optical instruments and carefully crafted details emphasize its technical character. The model in Unity also has an antenna above the launcher pods. Alongside the new turret, the turret control interface has been updated. The central reticle now includes rotation and elevation scales to help players orient themselves while aiming. Green sight elements share a consistent visual style, while a separate information panel displays the number of tanks on the map and the number destroyed. This update brings together a new defensive installation and a clearer interface for direct turret control.

The Supply Depot has a new look: a warehouse complex with three loading bays, an office block and a covered cargo storage area. Concrete walls, metal doors, crates, barrels and vehicle markings create a convincing working logistics facility. The design highlights the building’s purpose: a spacious yard and clearly defined unloading areas fit naturally into the military base. The Supply Depot remains an important part of the Human Protocol economy: HARVI delivers gathered resources here to generate income for base development, while fuel trucks collect fuel for the power plants.

The old power plant has been replaced with a new model. Its industrial design combines tall concrete cooling towers, rows of cylindrical generator units, exposed pipework and steel chimney supports. Weathered concrete, metal surfaces, access ladders and service platforms give the station a convincing, cohesive appearance that fits the military base. The fuel truck works with the new station and delivers the fuel it needs to operate. The previous model was removed because its high polygon count caused FPS drops. The replacement is part of our work to reduce the rendering load while keeping the base visually detailed.
